    homemade protein bars

Does anyone have a recipe for protein bars I can make that DOES NOT use peanut butter or nuts of any kind? I have a severe peanut allergy and can't eat any nuts as well. I have a hard time finding commercial protein bars that do not contain peanut butter or peanut flour or say "made in a facility that also process peanuts". I have searched the recipe sticky and haven't found anything so far.

These ones are amazingly delicious. It says almond flour in the ingredients, but I've always used spelt as I can't find almond flour where I live, and they've turned out perfectly.

I believe you can use coconut or oat flour in place of the almond flower in pretty much any of these recipes. I use oat flour in the ones I've made and they turn out great.
