yeah, i came in to post this. joker, even as a watch brah, you can't really put spanish cuisine that far ahead of french...if at all.
i will say though, some of the best seafood i've ever had in my life was eaten in spain. both barca and san sebastian.

Someone's been watching too much Vicky Christina Barcelona.
Paris is, in Europe, and outside of it considered the best for food, by far.
Take a look at the Michelin starred restaurants, and they're even understated.
London ranks second.
You know not of what you speak.

dont get me wrong i love french food, but spanish cuisine has been very innovative recently and taken it to another level. do i need to mention el bulli? they elevated food to an artform

i live in europe and i am not a "yank". i have also been to paris more times than i can remember. i have been to pretty much every major city in europe and, being a guy that likes food, make it a point to go to the best restaurants. my opinion is that spain is definitely up there as one of the best. england, despite having lousy local ingredients, has some very high end chefs that have given its cuisine a lot to show for. unfortunately, due to the lack of gret local ingredients, you can not compare england to spain, italy, or france.

French > all. I'm sorry but you gotta give credit where its due. No other nation's palate comes close.
Most deep, sophisticated and hardest palate to master. Though that could be a double edge sword.
Learning and mastering their wine culture alone can take a lifetime to fully appreciate and master.
