Last August, we were up north on vacation. There was a television with limited channels, so I got some news. I didn't have a swanky phone at the time, so I wasn't online at all. It didn't bother me.
No drama: You know where we are.

A few weeks ago when I was in Vegas. First few days had data turned off on the phone and didn't even connect to wifi. Funny this comes up now. I told Angie today, I want to have a themed birthday party this year, a leave your phone at home party where people actually talk to each other face to face and forget about their tethers for one night.

Any time I go on a trip (vacation/personal). It's liberating (srs). The times that I've left this site....liberating! I truly believe that the intarwebz has made anti-social, half-retards out of most of us. Better than sitting in the dark, alone...with a lit candle and all quiet, but not living like I used to. Kwim?

I'm just about as ignorant as the day is long when it comes to anything 'technological.' Is that the right term? I find that I'm a freakin' addict. And I'm not even a ******** freak! I like pushing buttons, keys...and seeing a response. It's like talking to yourself! LMAO

Well, whenever I stay at my parents, because they don't have anything computer-related and I don't have a smart phone. So just before Christmas. But also, my hobby is riding rollercoasters and I go off on amusement park trips every so often. I don't look at the internet then unless one of the hotels has public computers.

Not today, that's for sure.
Last time? A couple of months ago when we had a severe rainstorm here. Knocked out all the connections. Went eight hours without looking at my favorite sites. Before that, when I got my current laptop--took me two days to get the right programs fed in. Yes, I'm computer-challenged, I admit it.
I always manage to get my writing done, though."Don't call me Miss Kitty. Just...don't."--Catnip. Check out the Catnip Trilogy on Amazon.com
"Chivalry isn't dead. It just wears a skirt."--Twisted, the YA gender bender deal of the century!
Check out my links to Mr. Taxi, Star Maps, and other fine YA Action/Romance novels at http://www.amazon.com/J.S.-Frankel/e/B004XUUTB8/ref=dp_byline_cont_ebooks_1

I miss a day over the weekends now and then, the last was either last weekend or the previous one.
I'm not one for face book under my real name due to my work suggesting that we don't join. I don't have a smart phone or any intention of getting one. I've been known to turn my cell phone off for a week or more.
Anyone texts me, I generally delete it before I read it. If you can't call me like a normal person, it wasn't that important. Some people in my family text me beccause they don't have the balls to say something to me personally.

I couldn't live without the internet. I need gps, store locators, restaurants locations and guides, books to read while on the drive, camera automatic upload of pics, skype when the kids I left behind start to fight, body monitoring system that needs to be uploaded, dude my list is endless.. all take the internet. I couldn't tell you the last time I went a single day without the internet.
I rarely buy paper books anymore they are all on some device, I don't buy mags anymore, even a great deal of my school work is online. Hell when I weight in every morning it takes the internet, automatically uploads.

I never answer my cell phone. Only text. I hate talking on the phone it freaks me out a bit. Plus I see no point to calling people when you can text. Texting is easier and you don't have to answer right away. Seriously I have talk to maybe 3 people on the phone in the last 5 years. LOL, two of those were one time phone conversations bb members.
