    Question BMR getting ripped help

    I calculated my BMR.
    I'm 5" 5 3/4' @ 57 kg. I'm looking to build muscle as well as lose fat.
On various websites I found it looking at about 1500 calories. My macros'll be 40/40/20 Protein/Carbs/Fats.
Is this okay, or too little to gain muscle? I don't care if it takes long, but I want to gain muscle AND lose fat.
    Any help would be appreciated!

Basal metabolic rate refers to the calories you would need if you basically sat in a bed all day doing absolutely nothing. These are not your maintenance calories. Determine your maintenance calories and go from there
    Eat like an animal
    Train like a warrior
    Sleep like a lion

The time to take initiative is now. I'll have plenty of time to rest when I die

    BMR is not your MAINTENANCE

You have to find your maintenance caloric intake which is your BMR and your level of activity.
Therefore, try and multiply your BMR by 1.2 if you are a sedentary person.

My calculations say about 1800-1900 of calories for you!

Now, if you want to add lean mass, add 200-500 calories to your maintenance.
If you want to lose fat, remove calories.

Beginners tend to lose fat and build muscle because they are not accustomed to exercising and lifting weights.
