    Oats when cutting?..

Is ok to eat 1 1/2 cups to 2 cups of oats a day along with other high carb sources like whole grain bread when cutting? Do carbs matter at all or is it just calories consumed?

Picture too blurry, upload a few better ones.

To answer your original question, its all about kcal in vs kcal out, if you get your carbs from sugar or oats doesn't matter, only calories dictate your weight loss.

Carbs are the areas easiest to manipulate whether on a cut or bulk, aslong as you hit required protein and fat requirement, then you can make up the rest however you want, and oats and the like are a good source of fibre as well.

Yeah I agree, optimally you should be looking to get some fiber in there as well. Thanks GibRed

You should be varying your fat sources. Getting all of your fat from PB and avacados sounds awful. Eat some cheese and Bacon.

I agree, don't restrict your foods too much, or'll you struggle to keep it up. (and aren't you using milk for your oats? that has fat, as does the meat you eat for proteins)

This. Although cheese and bacon aren't necessary they are solid suggestions. Just add in anything cool like salmon, whole milk, cheese, steak or eggs if you want protein dense fatty foods.

Oats are fine for carbs, you don't really need to vary those as long as some come from veggies.

    lol

I never get bacon on pizza.

Way too much fat and grease on bacon and it oozes down into the crust and messes with the taste of the pizza.

For some people, I wouldn't suggest it. For you, no problem. Oatmeal is a starch and gets converted to sugar which causes inflammation problems in those that have insulin/leptin resistance. It will slow/stop results for sure. For these people, remove all grains and fruits when cutting.. and reintroduce these foods later after a prolonged period to fix these problems. Low GI carbs are best for individuals with these issues.

You however, don't look to have any of these problems so oats will work just fine. Eat em' up.
