Muslim MP recieves death threats for voting in favor of gay marriage!

Britain's most senior Muslim MP has received death threats after voting in favour of gay marriage.

Police have told Sadiq Khan, Labour’s Shadow Justice Secretary, that the threats are credible enough that he should review the security around him and his family following the Commons vote.

Officers in his Tooting constituency in London have been put on high alert, and will respond ‘extra-quick’ should an incident be reported at his home.

The Metropolitan Police has also advised Mr Khan, 42, that they may put more officers around him if further threats are made.

He told one friend he was especially concerned about those close to him, saying: ‘My family do not need to suffer for what I have to do for my job.

'I’ve not had threats like this before.’

Mr Khan was among 400 MPs, five of them Muslim, who voted in favour of the Marriage (Same Sex Couples) Bill at the beginning of this month.

The rate of AIDS among gays is not 10%. No one has been able to prove that it is the result of genetics or enviorment, most likely it's a comibation of the two.

I think it is more lack of condom use, lack of "openess" -- gays being persecuted. When you can't openly profess who you find attractive it is even less likely you'll profess you're infected with a non-curable death disease.

10% could be a real figure as people refuse to get tested. I am betting it is around 5% though...

The "secret" society of homosexuality as it was from the 70's through the 90's is what likely encouraged the aids epidemic.

I anticipate there will be a lot of less MSM transfusions going forward as gays become more "main-stream" and their rights are recognized. Drug use will be the next thing to hammer down and quit demonizing to help prevent the transference of communicable diseases.

Developing healthy, intelligent, and reasonable approaches to disease and society is what we need, a sure **** less radical stone-age barbarism is also needed.

He only mentioned America, I meant homos overall worldwide, and only homosexual couples. What I meant is about 10% of all homosexual pairs have HIV/AIDs

The only thing I've read about apostatizing not being marked with death is one line in the Koran. Everything else in the Koran = death.

I hope he does get arrested and convicted and is put in prison for life and prevented from communicating to his followers to ensure the safety of Mr. Khan. Apostatizing needs to stop immediately.

Why heal someone for for gay? Even if it isn't something you're born with who cares? What they do behind closed doors is none of our business. Irks me like no other when people say it's a choice. If it was a choice why would kids be killing themselves over it instead of just changing? This isn't the 50's and you can't just lock up homosexuals in an asylum. Just accept them and if you don't like them then ignore them/don't be gay.
