Southampton is top 20 UK, maybe top 10 at some point in the last few years.

Imperial College Theoretical Physics grad checking in btw. Absolutely hated uni but hey, got a pretty respected degree out of it .

(For international brahs Imperial is/was regularly 3rd best uni in UK after Oxford and Cambridge, peaked at #6 world rankings as well I think).

Dude that's still sick. Dentistry is a great thing to do. Graduate dentists earn more than doctors according to the complete university guide. It doesn't matter where you go for dentistry/medicine.

Yeah it has a decent rep as a school which can be sort of helpful because I wanna go back to USA after the 5 years here and do 2 years there and be qualified as a dentist there.

Oh, OP, you should have also put -- what is your tuition cost, how much in student loans are you acquiring (or are your parents paying for it or do you have a trust fund and if so, how much), and how are you planning onto pay off your degree with X degree if not paid for by mommy and daddy or trust fund?
