    The scary thing is even on his own web site he states nothing about any kind of formal education to do with fitness and nutrition.

    I find this is pretty typical of celebrity "trainers" though - it's not what you know, it's who you know and if you can market yourself as some kind of guru just spouting the exact same thing that society falls for over and over again.

    Aren't I awesome - I made Kate Upton look kind of fat in Sports Illustrated. How do you work out with someone 6 days a week and have them ending up looking like that?

    I'm not sure if I missed something, but it didn't look like he was a complete d-bag. The "lengthen" and "tone" terms might get to people. When people use these terms, I think they often do so for marketing purposes. I would hope most trainers know that what tone actually is.

    At the end of the day, we all have the opportunity to be a celebrity trainer. These guys make it because of personal connections, being in the right place at the right time, and superior marketing. I think you also have to promise a small miracle somewhere along the line...

    Don't get me wrong, I would still slay her with the force of a thousand lightning bolts, but she is definitely a plus sized model in many of her recent pictures. Soft and curvy I have no problem with, but in Sports Illustrated I would expect the cover girl to look not quite so well padded. If that was his intention then he did a great job, but I do not see a lot of "tone" in her pictures.
