    Ladies- how do you handle those time of the month cravings!?

    Its that time of the month for me and i just indulged myself with some Doritos! The craving was so bad that i ate some of my roommates chips! Lol!

    I seriously have no control when it comes to that time of month cravings. I mean its not like i eat a tub of ice cream in one sitting. Haha

    How do you manage the cravings?

    I sometimes give in to them. Most of the time I ask myself if I would regret eating whatever I'm craving after. Or I just put my mind somewhere else so I don't think about it.

    I always give in to them LOL. But I try my best to control the portions, and make sure that I hit my next workout HARD, and eat healthy for the rest of the day to balance it out :P

    On a low carb plan my cravings greatly diminish. I might have a bigger appetite in which case I do eat a bit more, but I don't crave carbs the way I did in the past.

    I give in a lot of times.. but like Balham said, restricting carbs those few days of the month has always eliminated cramps and really reduced cravings (easier said than done). Sushi, and feta with olives and oil are my weakness
    I thought I read somewhere that women can burn up to an extra 500 cals a day when the aunt is in town..

    oh man i cave in all the time... i usually just over eat.. or ill go eat fast food.. or junk food.. i even eat cheesecake at work (like 2 slices) i eat so much.. there have been times where i try to control it, but then i cave. haha
