I received a couple of inquiries about my “pegboard” storage so I thought I might post the information.
I bought it (on line only) from Home Depot $39.97 if you add some hooks or something it Ships FREE with a $45.00 Order
http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/...1#.USBBsnKt_Z8
The Stainless Steel Pegboard is raised on a frame so it can be mounted directly to a wall without worrying about leaving space behind it for clearance for the hooks as in regular wooden pegboard mounting.
Since I had to mount it to a concrete block wall I thought it would be easier for me to attach a wooden frame on the block wall first and then mount the WallStoreage system to the wooden frame rather than trying to mount it directly to the concrete block.
It would be very easy to mount it directly to drywall attaching it to studs in the wall or directly to the drywall using drywall anchors
It came with an assortment of slotted pegboard hooks but I bought some additional standard ¼” pegboard hooks to hold the bars a bit more securely.
I really like the look and durability of the stainless pegboard over regular wooden pegboard and glad I found it.

That looks really good with all those chrome accessories on there. Very neat storage solution.

Metal pegboards are fantastic. I've been using pegboards to store my accessorioes for years. The problem with traditional pegboard materials is that it will bend and warp if you put too much weight on it without bracing enough, which results in you losing holes and versatility. Looks nice and very functional. Well done.

You guessed it.
I didn't want to chance my two brand new CAP OB-86B bars crashing to the floor so I found a couple of GM Seatbelt extenders that I had laying around and attached them to the wall.
On the bottom they sit on a piece of 2x4 with some leftover rubber flooring glued to it and at the top I just stuck a strip of 2" industrial Velcro on the block just to protect the sleeves.Last edited by jpy15026; 02-17-2013 at 08:32 AM.

Great solution--repped. I might do that rather than building the gun rack + something else that I was thinking of to hold accessories.

Were you able to make everything fit onto one kit, or did you buy multiple pegboards for what you have? I am looking to hang just about the same items that you have up on your wall. Also, did you not use any of the hooks that came with the kit, or did you just buy a few extras?

I only bought one kit that consists of two 32 x 16 panels that ends up being a 32in x 32in area, big enough for all my items, one kit was all I needed.
I used some of the "Slotted" hooks that came with the kit for the smaller items and bought Stanley brand 1/4" Curved Pegboard hooks from my local hardware store for the bars and heavier items.I didn't like any of the "assorted" hooks that were at Walmart and Home Depot,I didn't think I needed anything but the Curved ones and the "Stanley" brand are heavy and come with plastic clips that secure the hooks to the pegboard so the hooks stay in place when you remove and replace an item : )

Just bumping this thread because this seems to be such a great product! I just ordered a Wall Control board, it came yesterday. I expected to need another one, but this thing ate up all of my gear--no more milk crates full of junk for me!
