Figured it was time for me to finally share some of my progress. A quick background of myself, pretty much have always been overweight. All throughout childhood I was the fat kid and never did anything about it. Once I hit 300+ lbs at around 19-20 years old I hit an all-time low. I had tried fad diets before and started plenty of “ work out plans “ just never could make any progress. I started with my diet by simply cutting portion sizes, which resulted in a small weight loss of about 15-20 lbs. Feeling some confidence finally I decided it was time for a real change. After moving across country and moving in with my brother who is lifting for numerous years he got me in a solid training program and helped me keep my nutrition on track. I have been sticking to this routine now for a little over a year. Right now I am 6’4 and 225 lbs, could I please get a BF % estimate? I am thinking around 20% or so. Next goal is to loose about 20 more lbs and then focus on a adding lean mass. Any comments and advice would be greatly appreciated. BB.com has been such a great community and all the information on here is so helpful. Thanks again

wow great results. id say your estimate is pretty accurate around 20-21 percent. keep it up.
Brah, your doing great man!! Keep it up!
I'm right with you as I'm 6'5 and started at 310 this past July, now at 252. Keep it up bro and you'll get to your goal.
Thanks everyone. I really appreciate it. I have really focused myself this past month and am determined on staying on the right path of hard training and clean eating.
Great job! Your musculature looks a lot like mine; I've got a good 40lbs hiding most of it, but I can see strong similarities in size and build of your frame. So you're about 185 of LBM at 6'4 and I'm 165 at 6'0/1; that seems to make sense.
You've made great progress, man, and I wish you success on the cut!
Started 2012 at over 410lbs (that was as high as my scale went) and I ended the year at 260lbs.
Still going strong while eating whatever I want - whenever I want; I just keep it to under 2000 calories a day.
Thanks buddy that means so much. I feel like a got some solid mass hiding here. I'm eating at a 500 cal deficit right now about. Trying to preserve as much LBM while loosing fat. Once I finish up the current program I'm doing I was thinking of decreasing caloric intake some more.
