A forum member PM'ed me asking for pics of the Sorinex bars. I brought a few home to grab some pics. Since there is more photo evidence of alien spacecraft on the internet than there are of these bars I thought some others may also be interested.

Bars look great, also digging the naked bar with the center knurl.
What are the specs on these things, guessing 28.5mm diameter? How aggressive is the knurl? Website says 150,000 PSI, any idea if that's still true?

It's hard to tell what the knurl looks like from those shots but I think it's not like Rogue. I can see soft peaks. Rogue bar has no peaks, there's a hole/indent where the peak would be.
And which bar is which? Can't tell chrome from naked.-!!!---!!!- No Excuses Homemade Equipment Crew #24 -!!!---!!!-

I don't have any interest in ever owning another chrome bar, but that naked bar and the nickleblack are both sexy as hell. What's the price like on these?

The Naked is very nice. I'll probably keep that one for product research purposes it is available with or without a center knurl.
Nickelblack is also nice, however I have no idea what immersion coating is. Its not oxide, and I don't think its Zinc plating. Its similar to a Texas Power Bar.
The All Terrain is somewhat unexciting although still very nice.
The knurl on all 3 are the same. The naked has the best feel (this is subjective of course) and is slightly more aggressive due to not having any coating filling the knurl. In terms of pattern, its a very small pyramid style. Not deep but grippy. The closest bar I've seen with a similar pattern is the Ob86B but I think this is a smaller grid or perhaps not as deep.
I need to confirm specs on the bars. The site has them listed at 150KPSI however in my communications with Sorinex they've said its 180K. I understand they have a new site that will launch shortly (which they need badly, that current site is terrible to navigate or find anything) and they not have updated anything in some time.
The bars are all about $300-$340 shipped I believe.
As far as competing with Rogue... maybe?. I think their WOD bar (I don't like that name) is more suited to that. I have a few of those here also but they didn't make the picture showdown (and they are sold).
I have a Sorinex Collegiate Bar on the way. It's not on their site but I know its a snap ring bar and the available in chrome or black (I got a Black one). I'll get some pics of that one once it arrives.
Didn't anyone notice my beautiful new NP bench? lolLast edited by GarageIron; 02-16-2013 at 07:03 PM.

What does NP bench mean?
I like the chrome bar, wouldnt mind getting a chrome bar again. I have a TPB with crappy coating, a crappy BR natural where I could see the marks on it, so I like the nice shiny look of the chrome.
Id have to feel it first, but my other chrome bar was nice...[]---[] Equipment Crew #6 []---[]

"Black man"
You might run into issues calling a superhero that, lol!
I agree, I CANNOT stand chrome bars.
If these are 180 it makes them a lot more desirable. In fact, there's almost no way I'm going to be able to resist getting the Nickleblack or Collegiate (in black). Hoping Collegiate comes with a center knurl option...... but I'm wondering what it's all about, anyway, as I believe it's the bar they provide to NFL weight-rooms, etc.
Between these bars and the Sorinex Chalk bowl I'm looking a nice little springtime purchase.

Beautiful bars. I think I'll chose to bareback this one.
Surprised theres no branding on these with the Sorinex name being as good as it is. I suppose they are very distinctive. Good job on the pics GI.My training log:

Yes. Yes! YES!
Thanks for shattering our dreams.
Sooo a few questions..
Is that Nickelblack black oxide or black zinc?
Would you mind measuring out the knurl patterns when you get a chance (specifically the unknurled centre)? With these hybrid ring patterns, you never know...[̲̅$̲̅(̲̅ ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°̲̅)̲̅$̲̅] Equipment Crew #57 [̲̅$̲̅(̲̅ ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°̲̅)̲̅$̲̅]

I'm still working on finding out what the coating is...
The knurl measures 17 5/8" from the sleeves to the middle, then the unknurled section is 17 1/8" across the middle. On the naked the measurements are the same with the centRE knurl a hair over 4" and two 6.5" smooth sections.
In comparison, my naked York power bar has a 5" centre knurl and 6" of unknurled space on either side.()---() York Barbell Club #30 ()---()
