Okay here goes. The first picture is pretty hard for me to post here. But I feel it is the only way to really see the difference. It is a picture I took when i was about 3 weeks into all of this. The second one I took this morning. Tell me what you think. I have been doing a beginners routine this whole time. (Allpro) And have been tracking my diet for whatever goals I have had at the time. Currently I am not tracking anything but protien and fats and am trying to eat at a slight surplus. I hope this inspires some who have just started or have similar comp. as me.




And here is me today!



I know the poses are different but do I look like a scrawny puke or have I put on some lean mass. Most people only comment on how skinny I look. (Of course I don't take off my shirt like a d-bag to show them.)

And lastly any suggestions on my next workout, coming out of a beginners routine? Ironwill? John? Hoping for some good guidance there.

Traps are a funny muscle. They don't always show in certain poses combined with camera angles. I've seen pics of IFBB pros who looked like they had no traps until the pose changed.

My traps are for sure not growing as fast as I'd like them to. Just like my Biceps. (14 1/2) Probably has a lot to do with sldl's being my only form of dl and am doing very light weight. Thanks for the feedback.

May be different poses but it doesn't matter because the difference is so terrific!!! Great job!!!

I would say to just keep concentraiting on the compound movements as the core of each training session. Consistency and time will bring more size.

Thanks. I started at @ 210 and got down to 174 at my lightest. Now around 180 and slowly rising.

Ignore them! I remember when my sister lost a load of weight - everyone kept saying she looked too thin - she didn't, she looked good! Same goes for you - I'll take that progress over seven months any day.
