I don't like Arnold Press I feel like I waste so much of my energy twisting the dumbbells thus lifting less weight. rather do a simple exercise instead.

arnold press hit more anterior shoudler and less posterior and lateral shoudler than regular dumbell press...

    also it is more difficult..

many have problemwith rotaror cuff during this exercise...

exactly, but moreover, the problem with Arnold Presses, as with so many other exercises, is people doing them incorrectly, and , if you get too caught up in the whole twisting bit, you end up using momentum, with your wrists taking the brunt.

When Arnold presses are done slowly and deliberately, with a very GRADUAL and CONTROLLED movement, there is no abrupt wrist twisting and you can concentrate on the delts.
Lift as MUCH as you can, for as MANY reps as you can,
while in complete control of the exercise.

I don't really like the Arnold Press either. I hate to admit it but with shoulder pressing, I like to move as much weight as possible, whether it be dumbbells, barbell, or hammer strength press.

"225, 315, 405 whatever. Yeah these benchmark digits come to mean a lot to us, the few warriors in this arena. They are, however, just numbers. I'm guilty of that sh*t too, waiting for somebody to powder my nuts cuz I did 20 reps of whatever the **** on the bench. Big f*king deal. It is all relative." G Diesel
