    Zinc works amazing, soreness goes away in half time

    I have had tendon injury for 2 and half years, it had not got any better at all. But then I started taking 30mg zinc and it has healed a lot in a month! I also noticed that I recover faster. Before I was sore almost a week and needed 1 month rest to progress in every lift. But now with Zinc my soreness goes away in half the time, does this mean I need only 2 weeks rest instead of 4 weeks? Or still 4 weeks minus a few days?

    Everybody is a little different. Some supps work/worked great for me while others said they didn't for them. You know your body best. Ever try a ZMA supp? Check it out.

    I'm already using ZMA. The instructions says to take 2 tablets before going to bed, then I can't fall asleep. I can only take one tablet of it. During the day I take 30 mg zinc tablet, and other supplements to get a total of 50 mg zinc per day. Vitamin C is important too. My recovery times have dramatically reduced.

    Zinc made me tired so I reduced my zinc intake from 50-60 mg to 10-20 mg. My recovery time got longer and I stopped progressing in some exercises. My tendon injury also came back, I have had this injury 2 and half years. When I started with zinc, injury went away, and now it came back when I stopped with zinc.
    When I was on 50 mg zinc. I went from 16 kg to 40 kg pistol squats in a month. And from 20 kg to 32 kg in shoulder presses, now I can't lift the 32 kg anymore, got weaker.

    I think it's from zinc, I see no other explanation. I will go back on 50 mg dose.
