    Bulk or cut?

    This is my first post so go easy Not sure if I should bulk or cut. I'm 23, 6 feet, around 185-190 pounds. I've gained a lot of strength and lost fat from when I started. Couldn't even do a chin-up, now I can do about 8-10.

    My diet right now is pretty clean. Whole wheat bread/cereal, almonds, fruits, vegetables, lean chicken/fish/beef, natural peanut butter, cottage cheese, yogurt, milk.

    What are your guys thoughts? Thanks. Love this site!

    I would probably cut and then slowly bulk from a lower body fat.

    I would say cut. I'm on the same path as you. I've been working out for months and gained strength but my fat didn't really go down much (I ate unhealthy) but now I'm focusing on my diet and hoping to get 15-17% body fat in 3 months. Currently got 21% body fat.

    I agree with the above post. You definitely have some muscle but your body fat is still covering it up. Shed some of that fat and then clean bulk. Show off some of that hard work!

    Update.

    5 weeks into cut, down to 176-177 lbs, lost 1.5 inches off waist. Still have that annoying belly pouch tho

    Should I keep cutting, maybe to 170 lbs and see how my body fat is? Belly and chest fast has to go!
