Is 20 - 30 sets TO MUCH?
I took a double scoop of c4 and I did arms.. Andd was just hyped up, so I did 20 sets of biceps, and like 24 of triceps., is that to much,??

If you can do that many sets you're lifting too light...

Haha good lord...I take a tad bit much from ONE scoop of C4 and my face burns up and itches like hell...but yeah I feel as if I can do 50 sets of every exercise and not feel ****...but yeyes that's way too much haha

Sounds a little excessive but there's always days when I feel better and do more sets. As for doing 20 on biceps ..... chit. I normally do 16-18 on triceps so 24 doesn't seem too bad but you musta spent a while in the gym

Please give us this workout..Im curious because im sure you coulda cut the sets in half and had a far better arm session

Not too much, unnecessary - yes.
I normally do between 16-24 sets. Biceps or triceps don't need 20 sets.. I usually hit them in isolation for about 4-8 sets. They get work though pulling movements and pressing movements respectively.

Preacher curls
Dips
Push down
Hammer curl
Diff variation of pushdown
Cable curl
Machine tri pushdown
Ez bar curls
Close grip bench
Tri version of dumbbell press

yeah i 100% figured it was too much, but 1 time wont hurt me too bad...
ill be fine but im not doing that much anymore lol..
and to the guy who said if i could do that much i wasnt lifting enough...
i was doing 4 set of 10 reps and was 1-2 reps from failure on every one, its muscle endurance really...

If you can do that many sets you need to up the weight.

You say that like theyre as important as not skipping leg day.. its not that big of a deal i cant do skull crushers because it injures my elbows, and if you pay attention to what i said i did to close grip bench... soooo good try? i guess.

its fine. pretty much what happens when i get too hyped up as well. just do tons of sht and still figuring out why i'm not tired yet.

too much imo. I personally wouldn't do more than 6 sets for bis and 9 for tris, maybe a little higher

but honestly i think its just the c4... i took it for leg day and did 4 sets of squats, 3 sets of legg press, 80 lb lunges, 3 sets of leg extensions than curls... so i did 15 sets which isnt too bad but i wasnt tired... and its not the weight cause i PR'ed in litterally everything...

20-30 sets is absolutely too much. Especially for a small muscle group like the biceps or triceps.
For comparison, I'll hit 6-10 sets of biceps and triceps each.
Close grip benchx3
Skullcrushersx3
Cable pushdowns or dipsx2
incline curlx3
hammer curlsx3
machine curlsx2
By the end of that, my arms are pretty burned out. OP, sounds like you were going way too light. Up the weight.

I agree with all of these except the "only do 6 sets of biceps" I've never seen anyone only do 6 sets of anything except things like abs or forearms

I seriously only do like 9-10 working sets for every muscle group, and sometimes even less. Sometime's I'll just focus on 5x5 compounds and call it good for the day. Less is more as long as you take full advantage of the sets you're doing via progression overload imo.
