Look at the EPA/DHA content of your fish oil. Fish oil in and of itself isn't necessarily good for you, it's those two specific fatty acids. You want between 2000-3000mg (that's 2-3g) of EPA and DHA combined per day.
If you want that without taking 6-10 capsules and without fear of people not putting as much product as they say they are, check out SAN 3x Fish Fats.However beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the results - Dr. John Berardi

There are quite a few choices as surely you noticed. I'd get the higher potency stuff with around 700mg's of EPA/DHA per gram/pill. The lower end stuff is around 300mg's per pill meaning you have to take twice as much to get the same benefit. NOW is one of the better values when it comes to supplements.

Go with liquid over caps. Almost always more actives per servings and more servings per bottle. I prefer Barlean's.

to each his own, but:
1) nordic naturals offers [re-attached] natural triglyceride form (vs. the cheaper ethyl ester)
2) very transparent company that provides information about the source and processing methods and 3rd party purity & oxidation level of every batch to consumers
3) meets the strictest standards in purity/oxidation levels and are always among the lowest (check out IFOS)
also,
NN ultimate omega = 60% EPA/DHA
Oximega = 60%
SAN = 65%
BB.com = 30%
and natural triglyceride form will tend to have higher bioavailability vs. ethyl ester.i take it for granted that no hearer of mine will misinterpret what I have to say as the language of cynicism
