    ITT: We realized we may have body dysmorphic disorder

    Cliffs:

    - Was at gym today
    - Wearing Y-back singlet
    - Back day
    - Mirrors entire circumference of weight room, so confusing angles etc
    - Lifting facing mirrors at some places in the room you can see like 3 of yourself
    - Weight room was pretty busy
    - Noticed some big kunt in mirrors (no homo)
    - Was like, "Fukk, guys back is hyooge... must be on something"
    - Turned round to try and see better (no homo)
    - It was me, yet I daily ask myself if I even lift

    It could be Muscle Dysmorphia. It's a subset of BDD. I did some research on it a few months ago and I might research it some more in the future.

    Take a look at it, srs. It will blow your mind. I think we may all have a bit of it, but it becomes a serious problem when the symptoms become pathological.

    I think something that doesn't help is how narrow my shoulders are and I only really see myself from the front.

    I know this feel. I have no idea what my back looks like. After back day my training partner told me I looked like a fking pterodactyl. He told me I could fly away with my lats, but I never see my back, so I have no clue.

    That feel after chest/back pump, though. Holy fwark...never want to cut after those days.

    I feel skinny fat and weak no matter how strong and yoked I get. Every picture where i'm finally like "now you're getting there" I look back in a year and think "geeze I was a small pos" and then I doubt where I am today.

    The main problem is.. I know I need to cut, because I hold all my fat at the bottom of my torso, so I'm prone to like a beer belly, even though I have vascularity across my delts and chest.

    But I have such a complex about my size, that I can't bring myself to cut.

    My problem isn't so much my size. It's that for me to cut I need to have low carbs, thus losing strength. BRB repping 225 then next week I barely get it once. Hate this feel.

    Last year I keto cut for 8 months. Dropped to 178 pounds, some definition. Was going to clean bulk off 2800 cals a day. Metabolism was so damaged from that stupid keto diet for so long that I put on 15 pounds of fat the first month, then by 3 months, I was nearly up to 200 pounds again. I'm currently 210, probably 20-22% fat. I store in my ass and legs, so my stomach isn't huge. I desperately need to cut, though, but I liked gaining muscle and don't want to start cutting until I have something significant to cut.

    March 1 I start an IF cut, though. Gonna try and drop real low.

    I missed the gym today and have been feeling like scum for not going.

    Noticed lately that my forearms are undersized and it is driving me nuts. Looking at any part of my body that I'm not happy with makes me really depressed

    At the end of every workout even when I kill myself I still feel like I didn't go hard

    I think I just have to accept that I'll never be shredded, and just go for bulky/PL type physique.
