    before or after- arms day

    ive heard many theories on training arms. is it tri's before bi's or vice versa?

    whats your opinion?

    (i have my own routine --not asking for help, just asking for opinions)

    same day? whichever on eyou want to focus on more probably. triceps are bigger, and make up more of your arm, so if you want huge pipes I would lean that direction. personal preference at the end of the day though.

    For me;

    Sunday or Monday - Chest/Triceps
    Tuesday - Back/Biceps

    For no real reason other than I'm always quite eager to train chest at the start of each week, so I get that one in first.

    But seriously, I do pushes before pulls on upper day, so I guess I would say tris (it is the bigger muscle, too).

    But really it doesn't matter, so preference should dictate it.

    Agree with Chazzy and Cparrott nothing wrong with a day dedicated to arms.

    As others have said you can superset, start with the one you feel you need most work on, or alternate. Hit Triceps first a few weeks then switch.

    monday- arms---bis/tris/forearms
    tuesday-LEGS!
    wednesday-shoulders
    thursday- chest
    friday- back/calves (again)

    i have found this works for me...im not really looking for bodybuilding goals...more powerlifting style. i work grip 2-3 times a week as well.

    I would train what ever muscle you feel is your weaker muscle first. If its biceps, Id hit a bicep movement then tricep movement. Or vice Versa, keeping in mind that your tricep is 2/3 rd's of your arm so train them accordingly. If I do Bi's and Tri's together that's the way I hit them. Ill hit triceps first and then a bicep movement. Hope I coud be of any help!

    You could round it every couple months or so.. unless sum thing is actually lagging you better start off with it.
