First Meet April 13th - Temporarily Sidelined with Injury & Training Schedule

Title says it all. Left trapezius and some neck muscles strained; 2-3 weeks off at least before pressing/dead-lifting.

So, serendipitously being in the deload week of 5/3/1, I'm thinking Squats & GOMAD for the final stretch. Squats don't hurt, but everything else does. I give the body 3 weeks to heal on the muscles that are hurt, and I improve my quads/lower back. I don't expect it to improve any pressing lifts, but I would expect it to keep everything where it's at currently (500/335/500), and improve my squats and secondarily my deads 5-6 weeks out. Being 8 weeks out from the meet, Squats & GOMAD for 6 weeks (3 off of pressing/deads), then deload two weeks before the meet.

Am I thinking clearly on this?
