Okay, ill continue accepting competitors for another 2 days. Theres a few guys in here with deadlifts that are just too high for it to even be a fair competition. Im going to set the current max at 425, i think thats more than fair.
Will update later with new list! And im open to doing two or three weight classes or something else to.keep the higher lifters itt.
Maybe this could be an official deadlift thread/comp with weight classes etc. ill be updating tn the rules

Alright man I'm totally in! Here is my video of 350lb. I don't think tht was my max. In 2 weeks I'm going for 400lbs. And I will post the video. Hope you all enjoy! And sumo variation is allowed rite?

RULES, DIVISIONS etc.
Rules
1. must be teen misc age.
2. must not have ever deadlifted an amount greater than current deadlift.
Note ** Rule 2 is to prevent brahs who deadlifted 500 6 months ago then stopped and currently deadlift 300 but could be back at 500 in no time with muscle memory)
3. if someone is to lie about their beginning pull (start of competition pull) or final pull then they will be DQ'd.
4. final pull must be submitted via video with newspaper of day shown and spoon in video.
5. final pull must be raw- this means no straps, no deadlift suit (wrist wraps, 4 inch or smaller belt, chalk are all allowed.)
6. final pull will be judged by a moderator who has experience in powerlifting or understands raw powerlifting rules etc.
7. no date is set for when pull must be hit, this is only a race, could be 2 months or 7 months.
Divisions;
There will be two divisions, one division will be for guys currently of a deadlift max or estimated max at 450 or higher and one group of guys who have current max or estimated maxs of 415 and under.
The 450 race will be to 505 pounds (if there are enough competitors in this division we can change the final weight to 525, or whatever else, I only created this division to give another few guys an opportunity to be in this competition without disadvantaging the lighter pullers).
The 415 race will be to 495 pounds.
For the maxes if you have not provided a current one rep max then I will calculate your estimated one rep max to place you into one of the two divisions. I will use the same calculator for everyone so that it is fair.

Do you guys do anything differently for training deadlifts? Like what I do is I do 1x5 twice a week but do you guys do a day where you do 1x5 and then a day when you max?
