So tired of waiting for half an hour for brown rice to cook, or having to wait for pasta to be ready. I am wondering WHY cous-cous isn't found in most bbing articles as an easy, quick to cook carb. A bit of butter and a pinch of salt and boom, add tuna & veg or salad to the mix and you have a 2 minute meal.
Is there a reason why people don't use it as much as rice/pasta? It's fairly cheap too! (and not very filling)
It also has some fibre (and measly amount of protein).
Why do people not worship couscous as the god of all bulking carbs?

couscous is pasta. I don't think most people know it exists unless they like mediterranean food. Cold couscous salads are my fav.
