90 Day Bulk Challenge
For all those who have stalled in gaining weight or are having problems bulking and want some support and friendly competition i'll be bulking hard for the next 3 months. I know its just a case of eating more but consistency and appetite is something I really struggle with so I thought this might be a good way to give me an extra push.
If anyone wants to take part i'll be making regular youtube videos with my progress, and will give and tips that I or other people have.

In. Ill post a current pic later or tomorrow and sub the thread. Hopefully we can get some guys that aren't huge that want to get huger. I get more motivation from regular joes like me.
This is exactly what I've been looking for.
subbed to the thread.
I'm not very big, I did a really successful bulk starting 4 months ago, but all that did was bring me up to average weight I should be for my height LOL (started at 154lbs.)
I would LOVE to be 210...And I've stalled out at 195 for a long time.
I don't FLINCH bastards!
You could hit me with a wrecking ball,
I wouldn't move a thousandth of an inch backwards.

If you have changed up your routine than it might be your calorie intake. Try consuming less calories for four or five days and then increase your calories. This will trick your body into storing calories. This has always helped me in the past.

Is there any science to support this? I thought that daily/weekly calories were more important

I've never taken that approach. If I'm not gaining weight on my current diet, I just up the cals by 400 and give it another couple weeks. So far so good

I've been playing with the idea of setting very high goals or 'going 150%' as a means to break through stagnation - the idea is basically that if you have a big challenge you will have more fire to break through barriers compared to mediocre goals that people normally set that are uninspiring and you give up at the first problem.
I'd like to hear your opinion on the idea, it may be controversial but I find it helps me

In. 133 checking in. 5% BF. Looking to actually gain some weight this time. Bulking to 155. Maybe more if its lean.
Being a former fatty I gotta get over the psychological hump of putting weight back on!

Yeah, I'm skinny and 140. Disregard all my comments until I'm 200.

Week 3 update, how is everyone doing? My weight gain stalled this week due to illness but I was pleased that I maintained my weight, which is 176 right now. Hopefully I can get the scale moving again this week!

Bulking for 190+ just eating everything in sight and lifting regularly! Remember to rest adequately all. Don't train yourself into bulk, do your lifts, rest when you need it and FEAST!
In. I'm actually beginning my 3rd week now. Funny I was already doing the same thing, then I found this.
I'm training for size, and shape though, whatever weight I gain will just be a biproduct for me. I weigh about 155 right now at 5'11.
Here's my 2 week crappy flexing/posing video.
I been eating a crap ton, at least it feels like. I have gained 1.5lbs.... 175 I am almost considering trash bulking to about 190ish then cutting from there...
