    No squat rack.

    So I go to this basic gym near my house and there is No squat rack.
    So its really hard for me to put the barbell back down from my back after I am done.

    Can I do front squats instead of back squats?

    and No I wont join a better gym because this one is close to my house and I dont want to spend 30mins+ just to go to the gym.

    front squats are an alternative but dont hit your glutes or hams as hard. i only front squat though, havent back squatted in a while.

    back squats are probably better for beginners though, i just dont feel comfortable with them
