Because I dont believe a Goat mentality is as complicated as it seems.
Ronnie knew what he had to do, and he did it.
The way he comes accross on camera doesnt necessarily represent the real person.
They say knowledge is power, and I believe Ronnie was smarter than he actually made out to be.

That's true Ronnie is actually a pretty smart guy.

Same for Dorian, that poor blue collar working class brit done good character isn't exactly true, he's actually rather middle class his father was a pilot and his mother bred horses both well paid and respected jobs.

For me the best approach is the best combination of professionalism/attitude/bodybuilder quality and BALANCE IN LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!I wonder how some guys admire so much an approach so out of reality,like some guys have!!

Hands down it has to go to Arnold.

He transcended the sport there was no money in bodybuilding, put it on the map, his mentality was second to none, this guy had an ambition to do something he did it, and after bodybuilding he transferred that into successful ventures and careers, became a governor, successful actor, worth close to a billion dollars.

Arnold came from Austria with little English and just dreams. He was laughed at for his accent, told to change his last name if he wanted to be a successful actor, but went against the grain and proved everyone wrong.

I think I agree most with Arnold's mentality and approach to the sport and achieving a goal in general. I don't always use it, lol, but I do think it's effective and was pretty similar to how I approached some of my music auditions (which are, of course, a sort of competition, as only a few of the people trying out would get placed in a band). Personally, I don't think it's good to be like that with everything, but with some stuff yeah.

As for what resonates with me, or like strikes a chord with me or something, I really like Phil's down-to-earth, yet competitive approach as well as Kai's(more artistic). Jay seems the most business-like and really seems like a machine with his approach, which is also admirable in a different sense.

They all got champ mentalities but are unique.

Definitely gotta say that Victor is the most inspiring simply for coming back from everything that's happened to him.

I'm gonna have to say Steve Reeves after watching a documentary on him. Guy lifted and ate healthy because he enjoyed it and recognized ts benefits. experimented with techniques and was self educated. Was a bodybuilder when lifting weights was looked down upon... he didn't care.
Loved lifting so much he made his own weights set whilst in the army and would train in secret until a captain demanded to know how he was in such good shape. Then had him train other soldiers. Made a movie career through looking how he did, competed wrote books and when he injured his shoulder and couldn't lit anymore he took up up power walking/jogging and wrote a book on that to. Did seminars in his later years also.
