Thumbs up Tips That Helped Me Stay Motivated/Life Changes

The tips that helped me lose 180 pounds(537 to 357)

    1. Don't worry if people judge you, they will be the same people who will be inspired by your dedication. Though we all care what people think about us we forget that, that means they have control over our life and how we feel. I do not want to be controlled and I know you do not either so limit your thoughts on what everyone else thinks to better yourself.

    2. When choosing a diet plan do so in a realistic way. Have a diet you can do long term such as a 30 day diet with at least 5 cheat days. A cheat day consists of the same amount of calorie deficit but different foods that you crave(Portion Control). 25 days of strict eating sounds better than 30 right?
Doing this will drop your cravings for the moment which keeps your bond with your diet stronger. Most people drop off their diet because cravings are too strong, so binge eating is a result making them gain the weight back in one day in which took them 2 weeks to lose.

    3. Know your goals, Are you trying to lose weight? Are you trying to gain muscle? Are you trying to improve overall health? Are you trying to lose body fat to change the way you look? Once you figure out which way you want to go. A.realize that losing weight varies because muscle weighs more than fat so gear your diet around cardio. B. realize that gaining muscle makes you gain weight and if you have a high body fat % it would be useless to gain muscle because you would not be able to see the physical effects. C. Overall health is the most important goal to strive for. This means you will lower body fat, gain muscle, and eat healthy which gives massive amounts of energy and prepares you for anything. D. decreasing your body fat allows you to see the results of your hard work in the gym.

    4. Allow yourself to take advice. For some this is the hardest thing to ever do since naturally we can't trust someone blindly. 1 person's advice could lead to the difference of .7 pounds to 2.7 pounds a week. The advice could also be a waste of time but because you put in that time, you are not entitled to give advice on that topic and specific diet for someone with your body type(endo,exo.meso.).

    5. Push through fatigue it is only weakness leaving the body. When fatigue sets in get up and be active even if that means just taking a walk. This allows your metabolism to stay churning and trick your body into thinking you are doing an intense workout. This results in a positive way because though your muscles are shot hypothetical strain is placed on your body and your body tries to compensate. This increases your endurance.

6.REST REST REST. There is nothing wrong with resting. You are own worse enemy here, thoughts are constantly running through our minds when we are at rest because we are not doing anything. This can be negative because you can over work yourself because you talked yourself into doing something that your body really couldn't do which adds the negative effect of over training.

    6. A goal is something you set and are trying to accomplish so why give up when it gets hard? Always remember your goal even when it gets hard. Avoid thinking and saying things such as i can do the workout later or take a break today and do it tomorrow. These thoughts lead to you saying this all the time which can result in working out 2 times a week. If you are on a specific workout plan and you are over trained don't stop the next day's workout just dial down the weight and or intensity, you will burn almost the same amount of calories as if you were doing an intense workout because your body is not at 100% which mean you are weaker in this state and everything feels as if this is your 100% effort.
