    power cleans vs clean and jerks

    i am bulking up for football and want to increase explosiveness to improve my tackling
    which exercise would be better for this?

    I personally wouldn't recommend the clean and jerk for an athlete. If you wanted to get the upper body explosiveness from the jerk, I would break it down so you do a set of cleans then a set of push press.
