    Genuine fasting question

So I knew we would be having Chinese last night and as I am trying to lose some fat I decided not to eat the entire day.

My last meal on Friday was at 8pm, I then ate nothing the whole day Saturday until about 8pm again when I had a beer, 6 prawn balls, 3 duck pancakes and a big plate of fried rice, beef chow mien and lemon chicken and pour of sweet and sour sauce.

Apart from the fact the meal itself which was very high carb and low protein with little nutritional value, is this sort of eating regimin bad?

I have read a little bit about the various fasting style diets and iifym but can having one meal a day play havoc with hormones , insulin etc?

    Did I dun goof?
