Question Back and front seemingly out of proportion?

I've been working out for a few months now, and only recently really got my diet in check, so my gains are obviously extremely minimal. However, my brother recently pointed out something to me that I also noticed myself when taking my "before" pictures for later comparison: my back seems disproportionately large when compared with the front side of my body! Since I am just starting out, this is more or less default physique.

It might just be some kind of 'folie à deux' going on here, but I thought I might try for a second and third and fourth opinion by posting on here.

Would appreciate any comments, affirming or denying that I have gone a bit mad.

You seem to be standing with your shoulders rounded (Forward) slightly. That's the only thing why it seems different. But there's nothing crazy going on here though.

That's a good point actually. I do have rounded shoulders (thanks, career in IT!) and so that might be more noticeable from behind. Started doin' them rear delt flyes now though.

Posture is key for showing dem gains! He may have politely been suggesting you work the chest area?

He did very politely call me a tiny so-and-so from the front, so there might be something to that!

Strange to say, chest is my favorite area to train. It's growing so damn slowly, though. I've been training it exclusively with dumbbells and the weight's going up, so it's just a matter of time....

    Thanks for the feedback!
