Hello Everyone & thank you for joining me in this log. I'll be statring this log on Monday 2/11/2013. A little bit about me and how I'll be using Phase8 along side hydroxycut hardcore elite.


Age: 41
Height: 6'4"
Weight: 286
Gender: Male
Training experience: 6 yrs

I have been lifting since 2007 and have enjoyed every moment of lifting it has become a way of life for me. I like how it feel when you push your body to do things you may think you can't achieve. But i've found when you set your mind to do something your body will follow. You have to find that place where your mind and body become 1. When you find that place there's nothing that can stop you but you. Ok moving on to the products at hand. As for me I'll be taking 1 scoop of Phase8 after my morning workouts along with 1 scoop before bed.

As for the Hydroxycut I'll be taking it as driected start out day 1-2 with 1 capsul 1 once a day. Days 3-4 take 2 capsul once a day and days 5-6 take 2 capsules with meal 1 and 1 capsul with meal 2. Then day 7 and beyond 2 caps twice a day.

My goal while using these products is to gain lean muscle and say goodbye to unwanted fat. I also have posted my routine I'll be doing while taking these product.

Day 1: Product: Hydroxycut Hardcore Elite & Phase8

Hello Everyone! I just want to start day 1 off by saying Thanks to BlueRev & MuscleTech for giving me these two products free to review and give my thoughts on.

As for me my morning starts at 6:30am. At 7:00am I took 1 cap of Hydroxycut Hardcore Elite before leaving for the gym at around 7:40. I decided not to have any pre-workout sup this morning other than the Hydroxycut. By the time I arrived at the gym not sure if that 1 caps was working that fast or not but I was feeling some good energy/focus going on.

I mean as for me I normally don't have that kind of energy/focus without taking some per-workout sup. Which is good cause i'm cycling off the pre's starting this week for awhile.

So if 1 cap gave me that kind of energy/foucs. Then this is going to be good by the time I hit the full dosage. The energy was there the focus was there and I also wasn't feeling all fatigued after my sets.

I was also just resting 60 sec in-between each set. And that alone will make you feel fatigued but I was feeling really good. As for me i'm very impressed with the first day of Hydroxycut Hardcore Elite.

Ok now lets discuss Phase8:

First off I want to talk about the smell of the (Milk Chocolate flavored Phase8). As for me when I open the container I get this strong smell of chocolate cake batter. (SOOO YUMMY SMELLING).

As i've stated in my opening post that the powder is really fine and feels like silk. What I really like about this protein is the fact that it Provides high biological value and sustined release protein.

Also the fact of the 8 hours of amino acid delivery that helps prevent muscle breakdown. These are all huge pluses in my book ok moving on.

This morning after my workout I had 1 scoop of phase8 with 7 oz of skim milk. As you can see from the pic I posted that this stuff just mixes awesome without any problems.

Dosage:

I took 1 scoop of Phase8 with 7 oz of skim milk this morning after my workout. I also will be taking 1 scoop before bed time.


mixability: 10/10

Alright I know that everyone loves it when you have a protein that mixes well and doesnt leave you with those clumps. The Phase8 mixes exceptionally well this product is a very fine powder and makes mixing it very simple. You just toss it in a shaker cup with some skim milk and just a few shakes and it was good to go. Everything dissolves there wasn't any gross clumping like you can get with some protein powders. With 1 scoop and 7 oz of skim it was just fantastic to mix. And your not left with any clumps or residue on the top or bottom of the shaker. IT'S JUST SUPERB! I used skim milk as i've stated tomorrow I'll be mixing with water and see just how that mixes.


Taste: 10/10

The flavor is Milk Chocolate and when I tasted this stuff I get a mixture of tastes. From Swiss Miss hot cocoa to just imagine your mixing up a chocolate cake batter and your tasting that YUMMY. Perhaps im weird but thats what the taste is like to me just goodness. As for me I definatelly love this chocolate flavor it isn't overly sweet and it has a nice thick creamy texture. It's kinda like a milkshake just not as thick. It's something you really look forward to drinking and don't mind drinking it. It doesn't give any chalky after taste it's really like drinking a chocolate cake. this product is good for making you feel full and satisfied.


Effectiveness: 8/10

Well the effectiveness from the 1 caps of Hydroxycut this morning did the job. As i stated I was only resting 60 sec in-between sets and wasn't feeling at all fatigued. Normally I would be feeling the fatigue set in halfway through my workouts. But this morning I was just knocking it out. I'm excited to get up to the full dose and see what happens.

Energy: 7/10

This morning I took 1 caps of Hydroxycut and about 40 mins later I was feeling some energy. Now let me just say the energy this morning wasn't anything intense but it was clean. I have a zone I like to be in while i'm working out. As for me my zone is the feeling of being the alpha male in the gym. When i'm in that zone of intense energy/focus it's like there isn't anyone else around it's just me and the gym. So I wasn't feeling that kind of energy/focus this morning with the 1 cap but I was feeling good. Again excited to see what happen at full dose. So far I liked what I was feeling this morning.

2 caps had me going bananas and I like to think I'm really tolerant to stims most preworkouts are completely ineffective even at super doses. This stuff is the real deal
