    Not again....... 2nd ****ty workout in a row

    Man, this sucks! I had a ****ty workout yesterday feeling all weak..what kept me happy was that i can work my ass off today. Ofc i get one of the worst back workouts ever man.. still feeling weak n **** like yesterday. How was ur workout today?

    Pretty much the reason, set a rep range, and try to hit that rep, only go to failure on last set.

    when was the last time you took a deload? it sounds like you may need one and give your body/mind some rest

    aight, its just so damn tempting to go to failure for the last rep humongous burn lol. But yeah very much think its that. Btw can going to failure pretty much always for like 3-4 months cause shoulder tenderness/pain? Just thinking if it damages some nerves or summin..

    Take a break, get your mind right.

    My workout was good but my form was a bit sloppy. I guess it was cause I got to the gym later than usual and was in a bit of a rush. My form wasn't dangerous or anything just a bit inefficient.

    Your injury is caused by a fail exercise, I assume.

    Same here i was motivated before gym but everything changed after i deadlifted for 4 sets.Was aiming for 264 pounds barely did 240

    This... its hard at first to get used to it.. but with higher volume its the way to go.

    Also OP take a week off... sometimes your body just needs a week of nothing to repair and recover.

    You should not be going to failure frequently. This is why you are having bad workouts. Just take a day off and remember not to use the failure card very often (only on the last set of your workout and not everyday imo)
