Ladies, do you lose weight on your period?

While cutting. Do you maintain? Gain?
Is there a significant drop after your cycle is over?

Depends from month to month. Sometimes I gain other times I don't lose anything and very rarely I lose.

What tends to happen is that I start to retain water and gain weight a few days before my cycle and then lose the weight I gain after my cycle is over

I always gain--sometimes as much as 6lbs. It's water weight, and it comes off after the period is over. It doesn't matter if I'm cutting or not; I gain. The only thing I can say is that, when cutting, if you get below a certain bf%, your period may stop (I completely skipped mine the month I competed.)

I always lose. My weight is pretty stable, even during the day, but I can drop as much as much as 5 pounds the week before my period.

The week before your period is generally when you hold on to water and weigh more. During my period, the weight comes back off.

I was doing keto and had a three week stall. Soon as the period bloat went away I lost two pounds for two consecutive weeks.
Worth noting I'm older (probably peri-menopausal) and my period sticks around for frickin' ages.

    Now cutting!

I ALWAYS gain. I normally gain 2-5 pounds before my period. I then tend to lose it when my period is ending. Its frustrating. Oh the perks of being a woman.

No kidding! I go up at least 6lb the week before, and then slowly start to lose when I actually get it. Agree with the frustration. Brb constantly feeling puffy.

Oh, I'm a hard gainer when TOM comes to town. 5-10 lbs on average. I usually lost it all though a day or two after it is over.
