The steam room and sauna at my gym are both co-ed. I don't know why but it totally weirds me out. Is anyone else's gym like this? I would like to go into it but..... I don't know... maybe I'm the creepy one lol.

Yep ours is co-ed, I never thought anything of it though. Maybe yours has different rules but there's a sign outside saying you have to wear at least a bathing suit or towel lol, would be weird if there was extreme nudity going on. If it came down to that I'd just do what I do in the locker room and keep my earbuds in and stare at the floor lulz. Dem old ladies love to run around in there nekkid all day, god knows why.

LOL you have issues. Our sauna has a glass wall in the front that faces the pools. I will be sure to creepily stare at the people playing in the pool as I stay perched on the top sauna tier. Pretty sure that wall is glass though so the lifegaurds can make sure nobody falls asleep in there srs.

Have to agree with this. My gym has 2 saunas and every time I go into the one in the women's section, everyone in there has just a towel on. I wouldn't want to see any of the guys sweating as profusely or have them see me. I guess that's just how I am.
In Europe, it's not uncommon to be in a sauna completely nude with other genders. Maybe we are too reserved here?"Mishka"

I dunno, it's all confusing. That's what happens when I'm sleep deprived like right now. Mental institution = bad, short naked horny people = good. It balances out.
It's funny how there can be such extreme's in the "gym" area. Some gyms are completely female only and others have co-ed saunas.Transformation Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=170068283&page=1

Or me. I had to send out an e-mail to everyone i know saying they have to call before they come to my house because I am always naked. Srs. It was not received well. My in-laws were NOT impressed. I am pretty sure by now that every single member of my own family and my husbands family have managed to see me naked.

i dont think its too reserved, i thinks its mostly dudes that do it. guys will just stare and stare and make it weird. and yes i know not all guys will, many can control themselves. but what ive experienced with the animals in the military is men are what we are. animals. and i like to think i have control but damn there are just some good looking women out there. so yeah, i think we, the people, make it awkward. my gym has a coed one but you have to have at least some sort of shirt and shorts on, no bathing suits so its tolerable.
i wish it didnt have to be so conservative to have coed ones, im one of the sauna talkers that ill talk to anyone, just to strike up conversations and its nice have women in them"Everything not saved will be lost." - Nintendo 'Quit Screen' Message

Oh wow you guys are reserved! I've never been in a gym that has single sex steam/saunas and never thought anything of it. Generally expected to wear a swimsuit, which is fine coz I don't wanna be catching no arse verrucas.
