Grandmaster Dark Lord of Almighty and Wrathful Peace of Vengeful Darkness of Holy and Unholy Apocalypse has spoken.
In.
Rep me sloot.
Jk no negs.
EDIT: K 100% srs, the none-sense that Dave speaks is the same none-sense I used to believe which led to an obsessive and unhealthy lifestyle of orthorexia, borderline anorexia, and eventually transitioned into binge-eating. My mental state was being battered as well as my physical state. I guess it would be understandable that someone who truly thought that he or she had to...."Sacrifice to win"....however close-minded as it seems....would be so opposed and unwilling to admit to what we know now to be true.Last edited by Naeem11; 02-09-2013 at 12:18 PM.

Make a documentary. Or become a part of mine. I am working on RTB4 and looking for people from the IIFYM world to be a part of it.
Anyone who would like to talk about or show me how they eat and train should PM me your contact info. I am looking to present both sides of this argument fairly.Check out clips of my video work on my newly re-desigend portfolio page!

I used to be extremely regimented with my diet, just how the OP described it. These days I just follow IIFYM and this 1950's instructional video on good eating habits:

And? That still doesn't explain the connection between juice and nutrition.
He's not using to compensate for a ****y diet, he's eating a diet suitable for him in those conditions (in addition to other stuff he may not need to do).
Keeping lean as a natty and a non natty are too completely different things."The action required to sustain human life is primarily intellectual: everything man needs has to be discovered by his mind and produced by his effort." -Ayn Rand

Prove me wrong: talk about those "special" supplements honestly and do that right in this thread. We're all waiting.
So you're saying if you want to look like a professional bodybuilder year round, like pbatemen2, for example, then you're only "fit", but if you want to look like your brother during the off season, then and only then are you a "competitive bodybuilder".
According to Milke, this is a competitive bodybuilder
According to Milke, this guy is just "fit":
Wow. Just wow.

I don't even know how to respond to this. Just no. I don't need to have a "grocery shopping day" and that's not a "simple" thing.
Real bodybuilder? What's a fake bodybuilder? Aware me.
I am a builder of my body, ergo I am a bodybuilder. What's your point?
Ian McCarthy and "NNB'ers" don't try to validate their behavior through biased research, they create templates for optimal behavior on the conclusions of peer research. Are you stupid?
And yet you had an hour-long discussion about it.
Bodybuilding is not difficult. You - unnecessarily - make it difficult.
There's a difference between experience and factuality. Just because someone hasn't been a competitive bodybuilder, it doesn't mean that their claims are false and that they should be disregarded.
Mike, your brother is truly a *******.
