If I believed for many years that certain ways of doing things that were more difficult were the best way to do it, and felt an aura of supremacy compared to those who follow easier methods, and then it became highly likely that these easier ways weren't actually worse, perhaps I too would try to deny this in order to retain my ego.

Well yes it does matter, because then one makes their life more difficult.
Who is he to tell us we still couldn't do it if we knew it was superior? I sure as **** can and did for years, I don't do it not because it's too hard but because it is has been PROVEN to make no difference.
Sick of this moron.

Now I didn't watch the original video with Ian McCarthy because I didn't fancy sitting through an hour long rehash of a debate people have on here every day anyway, but the impression I got from comments on the thread was that both sides made an attempt to debate the topic in an adult fashion, face to face and without resorting to personal insults.
So why, after the event, has Dave Pulcinella become increasingly aggressive in subsequent videos before eventually leading up to this? Just seems to defeat the purpose and make him look like he's throwing the toys out of the pram.

How is that helpful. It's a bunch of complete and utter nonsense. None of it is true. You are promoting false information and misleading those who are not as well educated in the field as others.
