Not to rain on anyone's Parade of Delusion, but asking for ID is the oldest trick in the book. Not to flatter the patron, but rather to put a face and first name together. Instead of referring to you as "creepy Daniels and coke dude" or "drunken and billegerent ketel one and tonic lady" we can say "Hi Fred and Sue!"

This afternoon worked with my coach. After warmup, he had me doing sets of neutral grip pullups. Finished the 3rd set of 12 and got off, only to realize 2 other trainers were with my coach and refusing to believe I was 73. Head of hair plus "Touch of Gray helps.

I work with extraordinarily good-looking people, and find myself using more and more lotions and potions on my face these days. What's that expression? when i met my wife she was 25, I was 38......ok 40. I lied and told her I was 32. I dont know why, it just seemed like a good idea at the time. Within a couple of weeks we were full on dating. Funny/crappy part was that she wasnt too sure about dating someone 7 years older than her. A couple of months later I fessed up to my real age. She was totaly freaked out for a couple of days, but got over it and we have been together 15 years now.

So, I don't know if I look younger than I am, but I got away with pretending too be for awhile.

At least 10 years. People are always surprised when they find out my age.

When I was in my mid-20's I was moving in to a place and had a guy come over to clean the carpets. The dude asked me where my parents were.

Last time I was in a casino a guard wandering the floor almost tackled me. He expressed shock when he saw my age on my ID.

I've had more than one person mouth "wow" when I hand them my ID and they look at the date.

I had a nurse tell me she thought she had the wrong paperwork when she saw me because of my age listed.

In my early teens (15!), I could buy alcohol without being carded. In my 20's, people still thought I was older. In my 30's, I had a gut, but looked my age. In my late 40's, after lifting and then running, I was often told I looked 5-7yrs younger (also worked from home and had it made) . Now, in my fifties (having gone back to work for teH man), I get a lot of, "You look good for your age".....meaning, they know I'm probably my real age, but that I kinda stand out...compared to others who are my age.

I'll take that, any day!

Most people are shocked when I tell them I'm 45. They assume I'm in my thirties. However, I do notice the skin on the lower face is starting to sag a bit. Not badly, but it's there.
