All this recent talk about 'Metabolic damage' has me curious. Prep coaches will speak of Reverse Dieting and gradually resetting your metabolism to "Normal".
First of all, what IS "Normal"? What does that mean? How do you know if you've achieved "Normal" for you?

Resetting your Metabolism to "Normal".
"You want to know how I did it? This is how I did it, Anton: I never saved anything for the swim back."

You should know your maintenance before dieting
You will know how much it has gone down based on how low you had to push calories and how much weight you lost.
So you should know your maintenance at the end. After reverse dieting, your maintenance should be similar to what it was at the start. It might be a little lower than before you lost weight but (assuming you didn't lose lots of muscle), fat is not very metabolically active so it should be nearly as high.
