It obviously takes effort to get from 18% to 12%, but not many people understand what it requires, or have the ability to push themselves past the 10% mark, and on down into the single digits.
Especially when your only goal is Spring Break...just saying.

I'm around 16%-18% and i'm learning first hand how hard its going to be to get down to even around 12%.
Anyways, who cares what % you are. Just effin Cut until you think you are beach ready. Are the girls going to come up and ask you what your BF% is?

4 weeks and you wanna drop another 3% if the stats are right? i'd say impossible. once you get to single digits, that sht takes forever to drop.

according to calipers, i was measured at 11-12% in my avatar pic. I've been a little leaner than the pic before but I felt miserable all the time. trying to sustain below 10% will probably drive a lot of people including me insane...its so hard.
anything below 8% is an unrealistic goal unless you're going to bodybuilding competitions. for the beach, i think anything 12 and under would suffice

This. I'm currently busting ass to stay under 10% for gains with minimal fat. It's also harder to build muscle at sub 10%

for what it is worth, OP you mention you are a college athlete, athletes are not recommended to go below 7% body fat. Ideally you should be between 7-12% as an athlete, which is where you are claiming to be. I think you could cut a bit to about 7% but you shouldn't go lower while still being an athlete.
