Hello every1,
My name is Monique and I have been exercising on and off for over a year now. My problem is that no matter what workout program I buy, it just feels like it is missing something. I know what I want to do for my cardio it is the weight training that I am having trouble with. I want to work out every part of my body. Not just certain areas. I already know that I should work one body part a day with a rest in between. I just want to be toned all over. I have adjustable dumbbells (up to 90lbs.), resistance bands, bosu ball, mat, ankle weights, fanny lifter and a stability Ball. I am looking to workout at home because I will be starting school in a couple of weeks plus I work fulltime. Please help or point me in the right direction (i'm so lost)!

I also work out from home. I'm not sure if this will interest you, but I base my home workout around the exercises found in Joyce Vedral's Fat Burning Workout book. You can can usually find this on Amazon.com used for about 1 penny, plus shipping. I find it easy to do from home. I do have a bench, but if you don't it is easy enough to do most of them from the floor.
If you just go to Amazon.com and type in Joyce Vedral Fat Burning Workout you'll find it.
I modify the exercises by lifting more weight than she suggests and I also give myself rest periods in between so that I can lift heavier.
I like the book a lot although it is a little dated. For example, most of the info about eating only fat free foods can be ignored.

The best place to start would be "The New Rules of Lifting For Women." It focuses on the compound lifts, which should be used in all programs. This is what builds the overall foundation/base that's needed.

Keep in mind nutrition is key to the entire process. If you don't have this in check, it's not going to matter what kind of program you use.
