    One week binge?

    Been following Starting Strength for 4-5 months, and have recently cut for just over a month. Throughout these periods I generally didn't binge/ drink alcohol when i went out with mates, as a means of keeping good nutrition. I'm going to college for orientation next week, and am expecting to be confronted with a very alcohol fueled environment It's a new state, new crowd, so i have decided i will join in the festivities and drink quite a bit for the first week. I will still be eating clean carbs, protein and fat.

    During this week of excessive alcohol consumption, what tips do you have for retaining as much strength, muscle as possible, and minimizing fat gains?

    Keep lifting and monitor calories to maintain strength and minimize fat... but one week wont kill you, enjoy yourself.

    I can't imagine somebody getting so ****faced and going 3,500 calories over their maintenance everyday for a week just from booze, unless you're drinking fruity stuff.

    Just drink a few protein shakes and go out and drink all you want and enjoy yourself.
