I have this science teacher who I have had problem with since day 1 of school. I made bad first impression listening to loud music when walking into class(not on purpose) and I did talk on the first day to catch up. I do every assignment in his class(missed 2 so far), and always get a B+ or higher on most of my tests. The problem with this teacher is that he is a very cynical, and kind of douche. Whenever someone asks a question he will reply like "look in your notes" "any idiot can do that" "how stupid are you?." This goes on with everyone he teaches, and he was always rude to me when I asked a question. SO today I'm having trouble with an equation and I ask him a question and of course he goes "are you an idiot? Any idiot can set it up", I reply "can you stop being a f***in jackass and teach me?." The whole class hears me and him exchange words and he goes on to help other students. It not only me he does this too but everyone who even asks him a question. So was I in the wrong for this and should I apoligize?

well i have a teacher who makes fun of me (its joke minded though) idk bout ur teacher if hes 100% srs or wat. but i just make fun of that teacher you know friendly bullying. If hes 100%srs dont apologize.

Report him to the school. Asking students if they're stupid or saying "Any idiot can do that" is inappropriate. Get your parents involved if you can.

I wouldn't have used those set of words but I would say he had it coming. On the other hand it may be smarter to say nothing. Thats your choice though. If its possible I would try to get him in trouble. He isn't qualified for a teaching job IMHO.

lol that probably wasn't the best thing to say to him, but he definitely sounds like he needs to be put in his place. Definitely tell the school or your parents. He shouldn't be getting paid if he's gonna be like that.

lol op your teacher sounds like a real dick. If you plan to stay in the class, I would apologize or else he might make that class even harder on you ( no help, low mark etc.) or just switch out.
