Used to like Phil, until all the cheating and arrogance. Not to mention his goddam ******** feed. Any of you guys seen it? Nothing but bragging about material possessions, his countless pairs of ****ty shoes, 50k watches, cars, etc.. Meanwhile you've got Kai on the other hand posting deep meaningful & inspirational words. /slight rant, no hate but goddam it grinds my gears sometimes

I prefer the way dorian posed. He just went out there and hit each pose calm and confident but serious. I think Phil's expressions are a little over the top but nothing Ill hold against him.
The line on the other hand...idk if it's written down in a book as a rule but the line is obviously there for a reason. And yes most guys tend to cross it pretty often but the judges told them to back up and Phil was the only one not listening..the judges need to be harder on that like I said it's their for a reason and they should know he's got an unfair advantage. No excuses for a professional "athlete". If a basketball player steps over the line for a free throw it doesn't could. Same with stepping out of bounds, etc etc. It's not just a guideline it's a boundary.
I respect phil he's got an amazing physique but he had a bad attitude at the olympia. And those comparison pics of him and ronnie...scale/how close you are to the camera makes a huge difference...kai sometimes makes phil look small imagine a what 280 lb ronnie lol. He made jay look small at times. Phil's great but so far there's only one GOAT...

I had to go back to page 1 just to make sure this thread was posted today. Still people going on about the line crossing? Who cares, Phil is just a bump in the road until a real champion comes along and takes a bunch of sandows and wows the bbing community like Arnold did like haney did like dorian did like Ronnie did.

If you've ever read stuff by Arnold about his competitive days, you'd know he used to troll competitors on stage. He had his own antics, sometimes backstage antics (giving bad advices), stepping forward on stage in front of the other competitors (and even read somewhere he noticed competitors would follow, so he would do it till they were outside the good lighting, then he'd backpedal a little so the other guy was in bad lighting while he was in good lighting).
If you're only looking at pics of Arnold, then yeah, you wouldn't guess that, lol. A pic is worth a thousand words, but still doesn't tell the whole story.

I think Cedric has that potential. Although I think Phil *is* a real champ and it's pretty disrespectful to say otherwise. He beat Kai in his all-time best, and certainly his best Olympia showing. Granted it was a close show, but he acknowledged that as well. I really think the ppl hating on Phil are just that - haters.

I don't think it's an official rule. It's more of a custom, and it's also been broken plenty of times. In fact, when there are large lineups, people on the ends often step further forward. Really depends on the judges' discretion though. Most of the times it's allowed and the surrounding competitors merely follow.

Lol I remember he posted a pic of all his louis vuitton purses and antoine called him out in the comments 'less purses more training pics' or something like that. It's true though, the top bodybuilders instagram shouldn't be basically selfies with captions about the color of his eyes/designer bags/watches.
Imagine dorian yates posting selfies and pics of his purses LMAO"You're a real winner. Wonder how impressive you'd look after dropping your drug use." -DPNZ

I really don't see how what facial expressions a guy chooses to use when he poses are a big deal. Certainly not multi-page threadworthy. It's the bloody Mr.Olympia, a historical event every year which crowns the best in the world. God forbid a competitor show some energy and excitement. The people sitting in the seats did pay to see a show and everyone doing the exact same mandatory poses with the same demeanor I imagine could get boring. If anything I'm sure part of the motivation to do hhrhrrnrrnrnrhrnr gggrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!! faces is entertainment value. Lets re-watch last years Mr.O and see how many of the competitors make monster faces during poses. It will be far more than just Phil.

^lol look at all those face making *******s. What disrespectful dorks.
I have conlcluded this is more of Kai fan's butthurt looking for more reasons to hate on Phil. Kai lost. I realize that will hurt your anus forever.
Phil beat Kai. They have this cream called Anusol. You put it on your anus and it stops it from burning.
I also recommend Butthurttritestonol. For when your butt really really hurts.Spike92 is 15.

lol. I've made a fair share of grapefruit jokes in my day but aside from that I don't have a negative opinion on Kai as a competitor. I'd make fun of anyone for the grapefruit thing. It's his fans butthurt over Phil winning that gives me a great joy in rustling the jimmies of said nerds.
If Kai had never been found to have done anything lewd like that in his past but instead Branch Warren did, the same people defending Kai's grapefruit thing would tell Branch Warren grapefruit jokes all day long. They'd say "nuh uh, no I wouldn't." Bitch please.Spike92 is 15.

people really take bodybuilding so serious.
Lol @ standing over the line is cheating haha
Not its not. the line is there for lighting purposes. It's were the best lighting is on the stage and is for the judges so they can get the best lighting views of the bodybuilders.
People just hold onto the crossing the line episode because they are butthurt that Phil beat a best Kai fair and square with his physique. people love an excuse and controversy for their own agenda.
