hey brahs, i started bulking around christmas time, where i was around 120 pounds. My aim was to gain 2 pounds per month to minimize fat loss. First two weeks easing into the bulk where i tracked my macros i put on 4 pounds, and i ignored the numbers on the scale bc i assumed most of it was food weight/water weight. But as the weeks went by and i started eyeballing my food intake i continued putting on a lot of weight. I weighed in at 135 pounds this morning.. thats a 15 pound gain in 1.5 months which is imo disastrous
im putting my ego aside for this so here are some pics (i know i don't look like I lift yet but)
120 pounds (end of cut)
135 pounds (1.5 months into bulk)
so yea.. I'm not sure if the pics show any difference in bf % but I feel like I've put on a bit of fat.. wut do brahs should i do mini cuts, track my **** strictly on this bulk instead of eyeballing or just continue with this and see how it goes? thanks so much brahs for reading this

Don't feel so bad. It's hard to get it right the first time around. We all got experiment. It was a good learning experience for you and you'll shred up in no time. Next time just bump it up a few hundred calories above your maintenance. A steady gain of about 1 lb. per week is ideal. So really your bulk wasn't that disastrous, it just wasn't maximal. Any bulk is a success though imo. Some are just better than others. At least you're not a skinny ******* going "giez i can't gain weight and i eat so much, y am i so skinny giez, hlp?"

im not tracking any chit atm.. big mistake on my part. but I'll definitely start tracking now due to my weight gain
thanks for your advice brah i appreciate it tbh i deserve it bc i gave up tracking completely easing into this bulk, thinking that eyeballing would do the job ha. I'll probably man it up and continue to do a slow bulk until the year ends. Will 4lb or 2lb per month be better?
and what you said is the absolute truth brah. learning from your mistakes is key.. i cut for about a year prior to this even before liftingg and learnt a LOT about tracking whatnot. cant wait to cut in 2014 will definitely post progress pics
