Adidas powerlifting shoes can be found at Zappos, foot locker, Dicks, Rogue, and most other online shoes stores. They are pretty durable and affordable. I got mine at foot locker for $70 after coupon. They are not top of the line by any means, but they are a good bang for the buck. I dont have enough post, or I would post link. I pull in Draven surf wear shoes. They are flat and have a lot of support and they feel natural but have nice grip. Not sure how serious of a shoe you are looking.

Chuck Taylor's are great for squatting. For dead lifts, the closer to the ground as possible, barefoot, minimums shoes, or slippers.

Keeping it simple
Chuck Taylors for squats and DLs they go for $40-$50 at most shoe stores
It surprises me how many people refuse to buy equipment from Elitefts because its too expensive but they will buy equipment from their competitors, then continue to go on EFS website regulary to educate themselves for FREE

Chucks are fine, but for the same price on places like Amazon, you can grab a pair of New Balance Minimus, which I've found to be about the perfect deadlift and squatting shoe.
Current goal: Cut down to 165 while increasing bench press to 300 by 6/30/2013. So close, I can feel it.

the best shoes for lifting are any shoes that have no cushion in them and your against the floor. weightlifting shoes tend to be expensive and theyre not really necessary. I like basketball shoes with flat bottoms and no cushion. most pros wear bball shoes. I like nike's but that's just me
I have been so close to death that the doctor said there was no chance of survival and the only option was to plan my funeral. I have been woken up by two cops pointing guns at my head. I have watched as the 3 most important people walked out of my life without as much as a 'goodbye.'
The point?..... For me, there was only ever one outcome; Success.

I prefer minimalists be cause I can grip the floor and feel the floor much better. I use the five toe Adidas they sell at dicks for 59. Without laces
Having said that if your not use to this type of shoe you could go with some of the other suggestions on here.
Really it's gonna be whatever you are most comfortable with

For deads, deadlift slippers, theyre cheap and awesome.
Squats I go barefoot 90% of the time but have been thinking about getting the addidas lifting shoe or trying to find a deal on the nike romaleos for squatting. The raised heel is suppose to help get into depth better but I have never squatted in anything but socks or barefoot (ahh the benefits of training at home).
I am going to die under a heavy barbell one day and it's going to be f*cking awesome--HamburgerTrain

I use New Balance Minimus 20 Trail. I really like them and they've been really durable too.
