MuscleTech Phase 8 Log/Review/Uses/Delicious

First off, thank you to BlueRev for picking me out to do this little log. I always love an opportunity to try out a new protein powder, particularly one that I've heard is exceptional within the first few weeks of it being available.

I'll be posting little notes about my workouts, along with notes regarding the taste of the protein, how well it fills me up, and how I generally feel throughout the day.

Forgive me if my posts are a little short and or sparse throughout the week as I'm currently full-time enrolled in school, but I'll be doing my best

Also; due to current circumstances I will not be concurrently logging the HydroxyCut, I spoke to BlueRev about this and it's all sorted.

First serving today was as directed on the back of the tub

1 scoop (weighed out as this is quite dense powder) - in 7oz water with a few pieces of crushed ice to make it cold.

This stuff is pretty delicious. And dare I say it almost reminds me of the original chocolate myofusion?

I actually wasn't a fan of cottage cheese until I started putting protein powder into it

Kind of evens out the consistency, makes for ALOT of protein too. and incredibly filling.

probably consistent with casein based blends

definitely longer than whey!

Sorry brother i believe they are all chocolate that we sent out (more people tend to like chocolate flavors then others)
Also thats good to hear, thus is why i like blends the most (only in protein)

AAron i always try to hook up people at my gyms Id rather them enjoy a quality product then me since my diet is spot on usually.

I had something similar this morning: 2 scoops phase 8 + 14oz unsweetened almond milk. So thick! I'll be trying out your concoction very soon! .. But with a magic bullet.

Thats funny i actually hooked a guy up at my gym that swore MuscleTech's new line couldnt be good, i gave him half a tub of my Nano-Vapor and the rest of one of my Phase-8 tubs...lets just say i turned a skeptic into a believer

The only issue I had with the new nanovapor was the flavor.. one of your demo reps hooked me up with some when I was doing a demo for ErgoGenix at a Vitamin Shoppe here in SoCal

Now, the blue rasp neurocore.. different story. delicious.

Had a surprising little trip to denny's with my family this morning..

decided to go all out bro since I was short on protein

Threw down 2 scoops in 2 fashions

First:
Denny's Dark Roast Coffee + Cream
1 Scoop Chocolate Phase 8
Glass of Ice
=
Chocolate Mocha Breakfast Shake

Followed by
3 Pancakes (ofcourse accompanied by egg whites to satisfy my inner bro)
Side of sludge-thickness phase 8 smeared all on top of 'em
=
Awesome chocolate pancake stack

boooooooombbbbb breakfast. And really not all that bad on macros/total calories at all considering I ate like a king!

I was surprised how well that phase 8 mixed up in hot coffee

I've found that I have to add more almond milk to phase8 in comparison to a regular WPC when making sludge.

Yeah it's quite a bit thicker than anything I have at home now. Including two casein based blends lol

I think mixing this stuff in cottage cheese may be one of my favorite things. My protein requirements with my current diet are pretty darn high so I find that I'm eating alot of it haha

2 servings Trader Joe's Fat free cottage cheese (226g worth)
1 scoop MT Chocolate Phase 8
3 wheatabix biscuits

Makes for an awesome little meal that's damn filling with all that fiber, too!

Generally I hit the upper end of my range at 250, no lower than 225
