    Talking I'm a beginner looking for a little guidance/advice

My goal: have a good looking body before I go off to college next fall in 2017. I just started going to the gym about a week ago and to be honest, I have no idea how to go at this correctly. So that's why I came here to look for some guidance from you guys who have been doing this for a while. I'm not trying to be a bodybuilder or Get huge or anything. Just looking to utilize these next 13 months I have to get the best looking body possible. So anyone with any advice please drop a comment.. PS I have only worked out for very short periods of times before this so I'm probably considered a beginner.I'm also 5'10 155lbs if that's useful for anything. Thanks guys! Pics of me now are below

Read the stickies on this site. Eat at a surplus You can download Myfitness Pal and buy a food scale to make sure you're eating 300-500 calories above your TDEE. I'd start a beginner program like starting strength, or choose one that fits your lifestyle from the stickies. Be consistant and eat healthy foods and you'll definitely improve over the next 13 months.
    Starting Weight 215, 25% BF
Short Term Goal: 10% BF 160
Long Term Goal: A Lean 205!!

    Looks like textbook skinnyfat.

Start hitting the weights but your goal is to cut down to at least 15% and work your way back up slowly.

I'm pretty new to this too but have made great progress in the past 3 months by eating clean and lifting heavy and often. Get yourself into a routine, monitor your calorie intake and you'll notice change almost instantly.
