Hi ther! Can you please explain to me how i should incorporate HIIT into my weightlifting routine so that my body dont loose muscle....what should i eat when? Do i do HIIT on seperate days? I kno i should do it after weights..For how long? how many days a week? Itrain 6 days a week for hour a day. Drink protein shake befor and after. Also fruit and peanut butter bread befor and fruit after. Thank you so muc! im really confused bout this!

HIIT will not retain muscle, proper caloric reduction will. If you're eating at a 10-20% deficit you should avoid catabolism just fine. Timing of your meals do not matter. HIIT timing is really up to you, but I wouldn't do it excessively.
Frankly, you don't need to do it if your goal is weight loss, so long as your diet is fine. 6 days a week of lifting is also quite a bit; be sure your body is getting the rest it needs.

From my personal experience Hiit becomes much more effective when you have enough Carbs and otherwise u will increase ur chance to burn ur muscles even tho if ur supplementing with bcaa while hiit cuz ur body will be using ur protein as ur fuel which aint a good idea and good luck
