Because Americans are the best in the world at bringing entertainment and we are also athleticaly superior as well.

So they can't understand why we find our Football more entertaining than their Futbol because they also love just about everything else our culture provides for entertainment.

It's funny because both sides think each others sport is boring and if an American was born in Europe they would most likely think the opposite of they do now. All the Tom Brady fans would probably be Wayne Rooney fans instead.

This means nothing. from around 2007 to 2009 Football, real football, was getting big on physique and athleticism. Since barca, that's gone out the window, now teams are investing in small 5'6", 5'7" skinny maestros who can think and pass a ball. Man City, Chelsea, both physical teams have changed themselves. Football is about skill, you can be slower than a turtle, weak like a girl, but if you have a brain and can make a throughball through a pack of defenders, you will be very expensive.

The teams with the skilled players always defeat the physical teams.

Soccer is a pansy sport with cry babies and whiners. Even in NBA (with no physical contact - like soccer), players are tough.

Yes, in every sport sometimes there will be players trying to 'sell' off a penalty. But in Soccer, it just happens so often, and it's really annoying to watch every 10 minutes a player looks like he just got hit in the head with Thor's hammer.

NHL, there are guys on the ice with broken faces, bloody as hell and they don't even care.. they're back out there. They fight and lose some teeth, back out there next period. One guy last year, Letang, he got a major concussion during the game... came back in overtime despite his injuries, scored the game winning goal.

Such exaggeration. Happens here and there but you act like it happens for the entire 90 mins of play. Bet you've never watched a match in your life. Watch the upcoming blockbuster of Real Madrid vs Manchester United and see epicness. Madrid is probably the fittest sports team on the planet.

Lol. This is perfect. It shows they you soccer brahs don't even have the slightest clue as to how complexed American football is.
Brb coach gives quarterback a couple of plays. Once the qb gets to the line a chooses a play to based on what the defense is doing. Then the qb changes receiver routs, blocking schemes, wheather or not the running back is helping in pass protection, or acting as the check down reciever, all within 40 seconds.

Then the players have to execute, receiver has to find the soft spot in the zone, qb has to deliver an accurate ball while the qb is getting raped by dudes twice his size. Please go.
Quarterbacks have to know what every player on the field is doing. Obviously it doesn't quite apply the same way to other positions, but everyone still has to know and recognize everything.


Here in America, your father is dissapointed if you chose soccer over football, baseball, basketball. Soccer is a women's sport. Sorry.

Not to mention that you have to be an athletic freak to become pro at football player.

Yeah well scientists recently concluded that soccer players are the smartest athletes in the world. And in the rest of the world, if you choose another sport over soccer, you are by all definition. A **** ****.

If Soccer was a woman's sport why does it have the toughest fans in the world? Red Star belgrade fans are made of ex balkan war soldiers. Tell them it's a girls sport.
