I read the book and honestly wanted to like it, but I ended up having to force my way through it. Majority of the content was either obvious or for f*cking pussies. Again, wanted to like it, but so far it has been my least favorite book out of the 15 or so (all nonfiction) I've read over the fast 2 months.

Well I was taking the notes anyway, and I figured since the Misc seems to have a lot of threads talking about social anxiety, talking to women, etc...
I figured these notes would help give some tips to Misc'ers who wanted to learn how to meet more people, make more friends, build charisma, build confidence, etc

Smile even when on the phone. Your smile will come through the phone through your voice.
Holy chit.. OP you just made my day a million times better. You made me remember that after I hadn't talked to an old oneitis on the phone in months and then called her, she said something that made me smile, and as I was replying she said she knew I was smiling because my voice changed. It made me feel phenomenal knowing that she noticed that and remembered it.
Thanks OP, that honestly just made me feel a million times better about myself. Brought back one of my best memories. Reading the rest tomorrow on spare at school.PIPPIN: I didn't think it would end this way.
GANDALF: End? No, the journey doesn't end here. Death is just another path, one that we all must take. The grey rain-curtain of this world rolls back, and all turns to silver glass, and then you see it.
PIPPIN: What? Gandalf? See what?
GANDALF: White shores, and beyond, a far green country under a swift sunrise.
PIPPIN: Well, that isn't so bad.
GANDALF: No. No, it isn't.
